This scenic watering hole in Greenough is the ideal picnic location.

Giant gums and rocky gorge surround the pool. Toilet and barbecue facilities are on offer and camping is $5.00 per night per spot and limited to three days. An honesty box has been provided. Ellendale Pool is about 45km south of Geraldton on Ellendale Road, via Walkaway. The last 100m of road are dirt but are suitable for 2WD vehicles and caravans. There is a dump point and dogs are allowed on a leash. No electricity nor running water.

Activities: bird watching, walking, swimming. Walkaway Wind farm is just down the road with a visitor's platform and interpretative board and toilets. Walkaway Railway station museum is also in the vicinity, well worth a visit.
